Not Just Small Talk

James, an Emergency Response volunteer with the British Red Cross, recounts his experience during the 40-degree record breaking day of summer 2022. James highlights the unprecedented nature of the wildfires that broke out as a result and what it was like for those affected. James tells this story to not only raise awareness of the risks of rising temperatures but also to encourage people to find out more about how to protect themselves and others more vulnerable around them.
